As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will help oversee daily housekeeping operations, assist in training and mentoring staff, and ensure our rooms and public areas consistently exceed guest expectations. You will assist leading your team on a full-time seasonal basis from Spring to Fall. Weekends, nights, and holidays are a must.

Responsibilities:

Assist in managing the daily operations of the housekeeping department.
Train, supervise, and support housekeeping staff to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
Conduct inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure they meet our quality standards.
Manage inventory and ensure the availability of cleaning supplies and equipment.
Address guest requests and concerns promptly and professionally.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
Assist in scheduling staff and managing payroll to meet operational needs.

Requirements and Skills:

Proven experience in a housekeeping role, with experience in a supervisory or assistant manager capacity preferred.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Physical Demands:

Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and bending.
Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times.
Must be able to work early mornings, late nights, and unpredictable hours, including weekends and holidays.

Performance Measurement:

90-day performance review, annual performance review, attendance, productivity, feedback from others, Guest Response scores, etc.
